Happy Holidays!!! Seasons Greetings!!! Merry Chrismakuh!!! And Festivus for the 
Rest of us!!!

No matter how you say it, we're in the midst of that awesome time of the year 
where we shop till we drop, dash through the snow (if you have time to drive to 
Big Bear), and exchange business cards with old friends and new. Its time for 
the annual UMEC-LA Holiday Party and Mixer with Columbia College, University of 
Wisconsin, and Northwestern University. We'll be partying it down on Wednesday 
December 8th from 7pm to 11pm.

We've including some Midwest favorites in the festivities this year. All the way
from Chicago (by way of Bueno Park, CA) we're having a chicago Favorite, 
Portillo's Italian Beefs! (Don't worry, we'll have plenty of food and desert for
the herbivores and non beef-eating omnivores). And, from Michigan,(by way of BevMo)
we'll have some Faygo Pop too.

We'll also have an opportunity for you to do your good deed for the year.  You 
can spread some holiday cheer to those less fortunate and bring an unwrapped 
toy, book, or other present for a child at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital.

 The Quick and Dirty Details:

Who: UMEC, NUEA Members, Hollywood Badgers, Columbia College of Chicago. 
Non-Members will be $5 online and $15 at the door.

What: Holiday Party and Toy drive. Portillo's Beef, Veggie Platters, Deserts, 
Maybe some blintzes, and fried chicken. Beer, wine, soft drinks.

When:
Wednesday December 8th 7pm-11pm

Where:
USVAA / Amvet Center

Culver City, CA 90230
The nearest cross streets are Culver and Overland. The venue is 1.5 blocks west 
of Overland Ave. There is plenty of parking in the lot in front of the building.

Why:
Because you want to brag to all your friends at the CAA Holiday Party that you 
had REAL Italian Beef from Chicago. Oh and you want to celebrate another awesome 
year with your friends and fellow alums.
